The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District exists for the purpose of providing fire, emergency medical and rescue services to the residents and visitors to our jurisdiction which includes the following communities (or portions thereof) and surrounding unincorporated areas:
- Village of Elburn
- Village of Lily Lake
- Village of Virgil
- Village of Campton Hills
- Unincorporated Kane County
As well as multiple large subdivisions such as:
- Mill Creek
- The Windings and many other smaller unincorporated subdivisions
Whereas we hope you never need to utilize our emergency services, we encourage you to take advantage of our non-emergency services and programs which include (but are not limited to)
- Fire prevention
- Public education (tours, CPR, car seat safety, etc)
- Rural water supply preparedness
- Explorer Program
- Misc. other community related events / classes.
Operating out of three stations, our department members are dedicated to saving lives, protecting property, and providing outstanding customer service.
