Celebrating the Holiday Season helping others!
The Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District is celebrating the holiday season this year by hosting several drives in hopes of brightening someone else’s holiday. All donated items can be dropped off 24 hours a day at either Station #1, 200 E. Route 38, Elburn or Station #2, 39W950 Hughes Rd., Elburn. Drop off boxes are located inside the main entrances at each station in the vestibule.
We are collecting toys from November 15, 2019 thru December 12, 2019 for Toys for Tots.
Unexpired, non-perishable & canned food items are being collected from November 28, 2019 thru December 30, 2019. Donated food items will benefit the Elburn Food Pantry.
Coats, hats, gloves and scarves are being collected also from November 28, 2019 thru December 30, 2019. Donations will benefit Maddie’s Mitten March. For more information on this organization, visit their website, www.mittenmobile.com
