builder_info3The Elburn and Countryside Fire Protection District provides on a daily basis out of Three Fire Stations Fire Suppression, Advanced Life Support level Emergency Medical Services, TRT Rescue Team, Hazardous Materials Team, Fire Prevention, and Public Education services.

This service area includes the Village of Elburn, Village of Lily Lake, Village of Virgil, Village of Campton Hills and Mill Creek and the Windings Subdivisions along with many other subdivisions. Much of our district is unincorporated Kane County along with many new subdivisions on the way. We cover three major highways RT. 64, RT. 38 & RT. 47. We have the Union & Pacific west Rail line running though the district as well as a commuter rail line with two commuter rail stations.

We also protect and educate students in 5 elementary schools. Plus there are many businesses and farms all in an area of approximately 75 square miles that we call the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District. The Insurance Services Organization (ISO) rating for the Village of Elburn and all areas protected by a public water service (hydrated areas) is a Class 2. The ISO rating for the Elburn & Countryside Fire Protection District (unincorporated area outside the city) is a Class 4.
